At Gommaire, each new collection is not just a showcase of furniture - it's a story brought to life through stunning locations and inspiring visuals. In May 2024, we embarked on an unforgettable journey to the sun-soaked region of Puglia, Italy, for the photo and video shoot of our 2025 collection. Following the success of the shoot in Umbria the previous year, we wanted to explore more of Italy's breathtaking landscapes. Puglia offered the perfect backdrop to highlight the natural elegance and versatility of our furniture collection.
Puglia: the perfect backdrop
Known for its rustic charm, Puglia features rolling olive groves, centuries-old stone houses, and sweeping vistas of the Italian countryside. These authentic landscapes provided a stunning contrast to our contemporary designs, allowing our collection to blend harmoniously with its surroundings. The region’s expansive olive groves and the contrasting, sandy dryness and natural stone elements helped create an atmosphere of serenity and timeless beauty. Over the course of a week, we worked in two distinct locations in Puglia, each offering a unique visual narrative that allowed us to showcase the versatility of our collection in different settings.

The success of our Puglia shoot is owed to our dedicated and cohesive team, which we’ve been working with for several years. Our stylists, photographers, and production staff work seamlessly together, sharing a vision and a mutual commitment to excellence. Our photography has been in the expert hands of Herman and Eugeen from Verne Fotografie for several years. Their deep understanding of Gommaire’s aesthetic allows them to perfectly capture the character of each piece in its setting. Their eye for detail and ability to create striking, atmospheric images are key to highlighting the uniqueness of our collection.
In addition to photography, we’ve been working closely with Donkeycomm, who handle video production. In today’s visual world, capturing the essence of our brand through video is just as important as photography. Donkeycomm’s work beautifully translates the mood and magic of the Puglia location, as well as the craftsmanship of our furniture. Their videos offer a dynamic way to experience the collection, bringing the shoot and its surroundings to life.
A perfect synergy of design and nature
The week-long shoot resulted in a diverse array of stunning images and videos, highlighting the adaptability of our new collection. Whether set against the rugged stone of a Puglian farmhouse, in front of the geometric lines of a modern villa or nestled among ancient olive trees, each piece of furniture seamlessly fits its environment, reflecting the harmony between design and nature that Gommaire is known for, as well as emphasising the timelessness and versatility of the pieces.
