From 1 to 5 June, GOMMAIRE proudly welcomed visitors to its Antwerp showroom for the second edition of Antwerp Design Week (ADW) - an event that continues to establish itself as a cornerstone in the Belgian design calendar. Following the success of last year’s debut, this year’s participation built further on what ADW stands for: collaboration, creativity, and a shared passion for timeless, high-quality design.

A renewed space, a fresh perspective

In preparation for this special week, our team completely transformed the showroom, presenting an exclusive first look at the 2026 collection. The reimagined space offered a seamless journey through indoor, outdoor, and decorative design - all rooted in the brand’s core philosophy of Organic Living.

Visitors were able to experience new shapes, materials, and atmospheres woven into the latest pieces, from renewed finishes to sculptural accessories. Among the highlights was the continued evolution of the Faye collection, now available with a concrete tabletop: a tactile contrast that brings grounded elegance to the familiar silhouette. Another notable update was the introduction of Emas Brown, a warm teak wood finish originally developed in response to a request from the hospitality industry but now also integrated into select Faye models and a couple of other pieces for broader availability.

Fresh additions and seasonal inspiration

The 2026 preview didn’t stop at furniture. This year’s edition also unveiled an expanded basket collection, including both new models and thoughtful extensions of GOMMAIRE’s most beloved forms. Unique fabrics made their first appearance as well, featuring bold new patterns and weaves that add expressive layers to any space - a subtle nod to seasonal living and individual style.

‘Moments by GOMMAIRE’: an exclusive event

On Monday evening, the showroom became the stage for ‘Moments by GOMMAIRE - Summer Edition’, a curated event designed exclusively for professionals. Guests were treated to a signature cocktail and invited to participate in a flower-arranging workshop, setting the tone for a relaxed yet inspiring gathering.

CEO Laurent De Greef offered a personal and comprehensive tour, guiding guests through the essence and intention behind the new designs and offering insight into what makes them special and unique. The event concluded with a vibrant Middle Eastern buffet, echoing the rich colours and textures of the new collection and the approaching summer season - a thoughtful pairing of hospitality and design philosophy.

A platform that matters

For GOMMAIRE, Antwerp Design Week is not just about product launches - it’s about being part of something larger. The event provides a space for Belgian brands to stand together, showcasing the strength, diversity, and global relevance of our national design identity. It’s a rare opportunity to engage meaningfully with both new and longstanding clients, right in the heart of where the GOMMAIRE story begins.

As this year’s edition comes to a close, we look back with gratitude - for the warm conversations, the shared inspiration, and the continued belief in design that speaks to both purpose and emotion.

We look forward to continuing this tradition, and to welcoming you again next year.
